Interview: Sarah Henton - Volcanology

Your next interview is with Sarah henton whose area of expertise is volcanology.

Sarah is a volcanology graduate student with the Alaska Volcano Observatory and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has worked on active volcanoes around the world including Hawaii, the Caribbean, The Russian Far East, and the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Her current research involves understanding the magma storage conditions and ascent rates at Augustine and Redoubt volcanoes in Alaska's Cook Inlet. In addition to her background as a geologist, Sarah also has a degree in Politics and Geography and is a Fellow of the RGS-IBG.
